Pulled elbow


Pulled Elbow is a commonly encountered problem for a child under 5 years old (usually 2-3) who is taken at the doctor's crying and "not using his arm". Usually there is a traction injury in the history (e.g.swang by his parents while walking). What happens anatomically is a distal subluxation of the radial head in the annula ligament. In this video I demonstrate how it can be manipulated back to normal
